After spending the last three years as a graduate student at the U. of Oklahoma, I can now see just how much Denison has done for me. While the U. of Oklahoma is a fine place, Denison's academics and profs have given me a significant advanatage going in to graduate school as well as going in to the field. While other graduate students I know have had some struggles in the grad level art history courses, I have had no problems at all and have found the courses to be very managable. I find this to be directly related to my studies at Denison. Denison's reputation has also suprised me. Several persons that I have come across gave nothing but the highest comments for DU and hold it to be a top flight school. The only knock on the place is the lack of AC in some of the dorms and a non-existant student following for the athletic programs. Being originally from the south, the lack of a college football Saturday in the fall was a terror that my soul may never recover from.
