UTSA comes with its pros and cons. The office staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make themselves available to the students, which is a plus! Faculty make themselves available via telephone and email and office hours, and there are many resources available for students to use to help them succeed in their academic career. It does, however, take a willing student to learn here. The only cons of the university are its seemingly lack of activity outside of the classroom. There just isn't much going on here, as it's a commuter school, and nobody really has any school spirit. UTSA is a good place to get a degree, but not a good place to really experience life and foster an individual socially as well as academically.
