I would say that coming to Tri-C has been a good experience for me. Yeah, there is a reason why it is called Tri-High, because it is like high school, but then again what do you expect from a junior college? The faculty is EXCELLENT, there are NO t/a's and for example, my music business teacher is ACTUALLY in the music business, so that's pretty cool. If you test into Honors College, take a few honors courses…the professors are great and the classes are small. Administration is horrible but that is any school that has 20,000+ students…I am part time and the only downsides to going to this school are living at home with my parents and the lack of student participation in extracurriculars because everyone has a life outside of Tri-C. However, I went to another school before Tri-C and dropped out, but I love Tri-C. I will miss it when I transfer in the fall. All in all, I would have went to Tri-C in the first place instead of going to the first school because it is a GREAT school to start off at and a good way to save money.
