Sul
Ross may be for you or it may not? It
all depends on you. It is a very different type
of University. If you want to explore yourself then do
it, and then prepared for the exodus that occur once
upon completion. I can't tell you what was harder, adapting
to Sul Ross / Alpine or leaving. You make how
much you put in Sul Ross, and what you get
out of it. Sul Ross gave me an upper hand
at experience in college. The employment service office is inadequte
for Computer Science grads. So it had to be up
to you to establish the contacts and resume. Remember the
C.S. Graduated is the typical graduate program, were not teachers,
bean counters, or ranchers. So we were basically the misfits
of the university.
Sul Ross has treated me
really well. I guess the bottom line is that your
success after Sul Ross depends on you. But being a
C.S. grad. I have notice that fellow Sul Ross alumni
have worked for major corporations.
The university is typical in
the administration level's.
Lot's of folks who couldn't cut it
the private sector, but it not my place.
------Bottom line-------
If you considering Sul Ross then be mentally tough!!!
