Forget what the Poly Sci guy with no friends said and also what the non-Catholic Biology major said. The people here are really nice and Marquette has been an extremely rewarding experience for me despite not being extremely outgoing or Catholic. Just like with any other school, you have to find your niche. Outside of finals week, I have never been "itching" to go home because I absolutely love being here. I love going to basketball games and I enjoy spending time with friends here on campus or at one of the unlimited number of bars/restaraunts/sporting venues/entertainment spots in the Milwaukee area. A majority of the people I know are very friendly. Sure, there are a lot of students that keep to themselves and some are flat out jerks, but an even greater percentage of students are very approachable and very nice. I am not Catholic and I don't attend Church, but this isn't a problem here at Marquette, where half the students are not the devout Catholics that some would lead you to believe. All things considered, Marquette is a great place to go to college. You just have to be open minded and realize that your college experience is what you make of it.
