It's a pretty good school. The city of eau claire is pretty shitty, but it does have a mall and some stuff to do. The university itself is very good accdemically in pretty much all of its programs. The student body is a bunch of drunks. Most of the kids are pretty cool. There are almost always a ton of parties but they are never usually very big. If your 21 or have a fake its a great place because of water street(right off campus that has like 15 bars). Overall, eau claire has a good mix of academics and social life.
