Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I enjoyed my time at C.W. Post. I found the classes enjoyable and the professors quite knowledgeable in their fields. The class sizes were small, almost all ranging from 8-20 students (1 political science lecture hall class, all others small). I found that I was not just another number forming a relationship with many professors and almost all calling me by name by the second or third class. I found my academic advisor very friendly and helpful and had no problems getting into my required courses, which can be a nightmare at other universities. The school has student run clubs for most major interests with members that are very friendly and always looking for new members. Many of the schools facilities have been or shortly will be upgraded. There is a tremendous new student gym/fitness center that is highly used and more class rooms each semester that are redone. The library has recently been upgraded to a more student friendly setup, with a great new business "board room."

As for on campus life, there is much to be desired. C.W. Post is a heavily commuter school. Only a small percentage live on campus leading to a very quiet campus on weekends. There is plenty to do not far off campus, but nothing within walking distance, a car is basically a must even while dorming. The students were all friendly and easy to get along with, so forming friendships is not an issue. The grounds are beautify, with green everywhere you can see and nice looking brick buildings. It is easy to get Friday's class free giving constant 3 day weekends.
