I you are african or black american there is not much of a night life here. There are no clubs, and the greeks are almost extinct, ie. black fraternal organiztions such as Kappa Alpha psi, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, Iota Phi Theta, and the Alpha Kappa Alpha's. There are few things to do beyond getting drunk with friends in dorm rooms or off campus apartments. Much of my time is spent getting high to pass the bordem when not studying. Bring lots of weed and liquor. But if your soul passion is to get an education then this is the place for you. I find the cours load very challenging and the graduation rate is relativly high.
