American University is a really great place. There are many amazing people who aren't pretentious about their own accomplishments even though they usually have a lot to be proud of.

AU's campus is very beautiful. AU will very soon start on many projects like the new SIS building, new Communications building, new bigger home for Kogod School of Business, and also buying more real estate for expansion. All this is great, because we are really striving to be among the very best, and I think that we are succeeding for example the new campaign in a very short period raised more than $110 million. We will soon have a new art gallery, new centers, renovation of several buildings, a much bigger Graydon center,a new parking space, expansion of law school, and the list goes on and on, trust me. I feel that there is no other school that is improving as quickly as American is.

Another good thing, I feel, is that AU is very self-critical and able to identify problems and try to fix them, which I don't think that every school would do as openly as AU is doing. The year 2004-2005 marks a breakthrough in AU's history as it has began on new goals of big improvement, in terms of every aspect.

All of my teachers have been great. I will admit that sometimes work becomes a chore and seems to emphasize just lots of work and hard test rather than pure learning, but most often that's not the case, and you will find that at virtually every school anyways. It's really up to the student whether or not s/he takes advantage of all the educational opportunities here. Having a world-class location, and top notch SIS school, is amazing too, for all AU students and those interested especially in business, public policy, political science, law, and public affairs.
