Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I came from San Diego, California initially as an architecture student. I was between business and architecture before applying. After four classes in architecture I lost interest, but the program is regarded as very good. So I switched majors from architecture to business. As a first year student I found it very difficult to connect with other students on campus because they were very apprehensive compared to the atmosphere og my high school. Regardless, I stayed as a business major and found that my first two years were somewhat of a complete waste. The general education classes had very little effect in my education. But not until my third year did my classes begin to be interesting. Its seems as if they save the best proffesors for the upper division courses. I really enjoyed some of the classes. The two best majors in business at Woodbury are accounting and the finance concentration. I would have wished that students were a bit more passionate about going above and beyond in class. Somethings I would try and change if I had another four years is, petitioning for a uniform grading system to avoid such subjective grading from bad professors. Also, to create more oppourtunites for students to speak more in class. Trust me, you need to learn how to speak in class, how to express yourself. I would recommend this university because you can really take hold of what type of education you recieve, its not all given to you but you can create what you want to help you become what you want to be. Also, you have oppourtunities to develope very close relationships with proffesors and other students for to help each other out in future business ventures. With an alumni going back to 1884 you can guarantee you have all types of contacts. Good luck with your search and God bless. Jonathan
