Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time)
I don't think UMD is as good as it advertising itself to be, in fact, its nowhere as close. The campus isn't as beautiful as other schools with endowments as large as UMD. I've noticed a lot of buildings are in need of desperate repair, renovation, or demolition. The dorms also need to be fixed up; many of them don't even have A/C. Probably the worst thing is parking. I've had to park 20 minutes away from classes several semesters. Also, the roads on campus are so clogged with students and cars that it will take you up to an half hour to drive from one end to another (less than half mile). The teachers are hit or miss, I've had some really good ones but also some really bad ones. It doesn't help that many classes are taught by TAs. I'm glad I'm leaving this year. I'm going to look forward and never look back.
