Im a Junior here at GSU and I love this college. Its true that there is really nothing to do in Statesboro, and if you are a "clubber" you will be sorely dissappointed. But college is what you make of it. Not having excellent clubs or bars to goto doesn't make a university bad or good. I have heard talk about racism, but honestly, I havent seen it. I am white myself, and I have a large mix of friends from different races. Everyone is always friendly. In my opinion, the ones who you will find to me the least friendly are the Greeks, but even there, for every 2 or 3 snobs you meet, there will be 1 or 2 members who are very nice. If you are mature and can bucke down and study, I recommend this university for you.
