I hate Guilford College very much. Last year when I visited the school things seemed to be very nice and sugar coded, but that is only on the outside. In other words, the looks are deceiving. They claim to make changes to fix up the school, but they all tend to be fables. Sure the people are nice, but that can only go so far. If you come to Guilford, you will find yourself doing nothing with your life, and nothing that will prepare yourself for the real world. Ever since coming to Guilford, I’ve noticed changes in my social life. There is no social life at Guilford, although there use to be last year till they cracked down on the rules. My social changes that I’ve noticed were nothing to be happy about. Sure they were fun, but finding yourself NEEDING to smoke every night (just to do something) is not good. I am leaving after this last semester because I want to stop ruining my life. Don’t come to Guilford unless you are interested in crappy food, having no motivation to get anything done, wasting important years of your life, and etc. Again, the campus is beautiful, BUT everything else is not. Do not believe what others tell you about the school, they are just trying to trick you into coming here (they tell you what you want to hear) they did that to me, and I regret every dime my parents gave them. Save yourself, and don’t come here. By the way I also cannot stand my air conditioner in my dorm. Many people have problems with theirs, but right now I have it on High Cool turned all the way up, and it feels like 80 in my room. Every night I break out in a sweat, and I cant stand it anymore. I hate everything about this school. It’s a very depressing place to be enrolled at. Guilford also forgot to mention that they have a rising STD rate at 63% of the whole student body. Luckily I have not hooked up with any ugly ass burned bitches (but there is a good chance you will if you decide to come here). So again, think of your health and future, and you will start to see how Guilford does not fit into any of those categories. This is the TRUTH about Guilford, many people here don’t want to believe nor address it, but I am.
