Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
Coming from put of state I found life in Hawaii to be quite different than on the "mainland". People are really laid back and friendly; however because of this attitude it takes a long time to get anything done around here. If you decide to come look for a place off campus because there is not enough housing and even if you get in you will have to duke it out with the cockroaches to see who gets the bed. They have been discussing building new dorms for 25-30 years but nothing has been done, in the mean time the buildings are literally falling apart, one dormitory was condemed some years back and it still sits here rotting away. UH is not a traditional university, its like a gigantic community college. Of the 20,000 students only about 3500 students live on campus. However if you like surfing might as well come.
