*I like UCA. I have had some of the best times of my life running around on campus.
  • To make sure everyone gets a clear view of who I am: No, I am not sorority, no I don't belong to any clubs, no sports, nothing that would classify me as "belonging" to any specific group.
  • You don't have to belong to these groups to have a great time!
  • I spent my first two years of college life in a residential hall—it's different than a dorm—Classes are taught in the same building that you live in; you have classes with the girl down the hall, and the guy from the third floor. If anyone is thinking about UCA, GO RESIDENTIAL HALL! It is seriously a great time!
  • My third year at UCA, I lived in an off campus housing (basically, an apartment that UCA owned). That was great too! You get the off campus feel, with out all the hassle of monthly utilities and cable bill. It taught me to "live on my own" without actually living on my own. A GREAT THING FOR A JUNIOR!
  • My fourth year at UCA, my best friends and I got an apartment in Conway, and have enjoyed living here. We are within walking distance of UCA but with out most of the clutter that on campus housing has.
  • I do enjoy my time here at UCA. I feel bad for those who didn't. I made so many friends that every where I turn is a friendly face. I get along with my professors. I even go to lunch with my advisor from time to time.
  • I have come to the conclusion that college is what YOU make of it. If you have had such an awful time, it's because you are too damn snobby to go out and make an ass out of yourself from time to time. That's how you make memories. I played in many of the athletics that our hall did. We played softball, basketball, volleyball… Shoot, from time to time, half of my floor of girls would break out our water guns and run amuck on the guys' side of the hall!
  • There's really no end to the fun you can have while being on campus. Mr. Harvard, who already posted on this site, must not have paid attention to all that was going around him. UCA gives so much to the students. Time, resources, events, etc.
  • Please, for all of you reading these:
  • DON'T TAKE OUR WORDS AS ABSOLUTE TRUTH! If you really want to know what a college is like, go visit it. Take a tour of UCA. Ask random students on the sidewalk—

Hey, I'm thinking about coming to school here, what do you like about UCA? What don't you like?
You'll get a better feel from that, than reading a silly computer screen.
  • Good luck! And if you're going to live on campus—Look into the residential halls: State Hall (my old stomping ground), Hughes Hall, and Minton Hall.
