Kenyon has an amazing place with lots of character, a quality education, friendly & knowledgeable professors, and many opportunities to pursue leadership positions in student organizations. The intelectual environment at Kenyon is stimulating. Departments and student organizations sponsor interesting lectures and events. Professors are extremely accessible even outsied the classroom, and students work hard (and play equally hard on weekends!) Unfortunately, the frats are generally the ones who have the big parties. The surrounding area is rural, which can take some time to get used to, but I can't believe people who give Kenyuon a bad raking just because of the area…I mean come on! It's not like admissions tries to hide the fact that it's rural! If you don't know that the next big city is about 50 minutes away from Kenyon before you enroll, then you have got to be a little slow…
