Going to Dartmouth was the most amazing experience of my life. The students there are really fun and laid-back, and I couldn't imagine a place with more interesting, yet well-rounded people. I am a graduate student at Stanford now, and from personal experience, while the weather is better in Palo Alto, Dartmouth is a much better place to spend your undergraduate years (not to say Stanford is a bad place either). The Dartmouth name also goes a long way, and there is an incredibly strong alumni network to help with finding jobs afterwards.
