Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I would strongly recommend attending Saint Louis University for students who are looking for a Catholic university or those looking for more than just "a run of the mill" education. The university embraces its Jesuit, Catholic mission and allows for you to receive a well rounded education in addition to the studies in your major. SLU's really strengh lies with the accessibility and helpfulness of the faculty. As far as the John Cook School of Business, it is not unusal to get home/cell numbers from professors and for them to be eager to meet you outside of class; the small class sizes and general atmosphere of goodwill among students and faculty help to foster this. As with any school there are aspects of SLU that are not appealing but after visiting friends at many other schools I find they are not unique to SLU, and minor in most cases. I am slightly mystified by the percentage of negative reviews the school has received on this website and believe for those outside the SLU-community that it is no way representative of how those who go to school at Saint Louis University feel.
