Date: Jun 01 2005 Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time) I will always have fond memories of Susquehanna. The campus community is really tight-knit… after a few semesters this place truly is like home. 95% of my professors were amazing. They are so dedicated, informed, and approachable. In regards to academics, I feel that the course work was challenging and worthwhile. The atmosphere is not cut-throat, as it seems like most students are friendly. The information I acquired not only assisted me in graduate school and in my occupation, but it also provided me with fundamental critical thinking and problem solving skills that every informed citizen should possess. Socially, the school is lacking. The students are very homogeneous: white, upper middle class, mostly from NJ, NY, MD, and PA, all decked out in their preppy attire. Greek life can seem to control the social scene. A recent outbreak of "unbecoming" greek behavior is supposedly changing things. Surprisingly, if motivated enough, one can find things to do in the surrounding community. The administration at the school is above average. I did not feel I was looked down upon as a student and everyone seems to be well-organized and on top of things.I would attend SU again in a heartbeat. I received a high quality education and was part of an amazing, incredibly friendly community.
