There is something in the air on campus that anyone who graduates GT will make a boatload of cash and be successful for the rest of their lives. Of course, this is just hype, but many people find this to be true for the following reasons:

1.) The Co-Op program is by FAR the BEST thing Tech has going for its Undergrads. Located in downtown Atlanta, Tech has a plethora of job opportunites waiting for every major. I am not a Co-Op student, but I did manage to find my own job in my future field (Law) by networking on my own.

2.) You will take so many hard classes at Tech that by the time you get out, you won't bat an eye at anything difficult an employer or interviewer will throw at you. Hard work becomes the fiber of your being, and employers will eat it up.

3.) GTRI (Georgia Tech Research Institute) and the faculty research opportunities for undergrads are very generous. Undergrad research will not only affirm / reject your choice of major, but it will get you yet another item to put on your resume.

Of course, if you choose to sit on your behind, play video games all day, and complain, no matter how bright you may think you are, GT will chew you up and spit you out. All of these failure stories on this message board come from people who did just that. There are many of these sad individuals at every school, and there are many motivated, successful individuals at every school as well.

The Greek system at GT is unique in that there are actually multiple fraternities that do not haze, provide wholesome programming for their members, and actually throw down with the best of them. I would encourage you to shop around for a fraternity that fits you, I guarantee you will like at least one of the 30.

The choice of course is yours. But GT's location and programs are second to none, and I recommend it without hesitation.
