Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I had an absolutely horrible experience as a graphic design major at this university. Half of the professors and grad students are helpfull, friendly and approacheable. The other half are the exact opposite—condescending, narrow minded and too busy for the likes of YOU. Interdepartmental politicking caused a lot of faculty reshuffling and ultimately ended the design program. High-level staff and other students told the design majors that they didn't belong in the BFA program and to go away. I stuck in it anyway but then with the staff shuffling I was unable to find someone to work with me on my thesis. Instead of waiting a year fo rthem to get their affairs in order, I chose to graduate. Good riddance. This school didn't help me to further my knowledge, expand my horizons, etc. I did a lot of self directed study. I mean, a LOT.
