The campus is beautiful, the faculty are generally very easy to approach - the only flaw is that the Theater Department is VERY hard to break in to - no outsiders allowed!

The people in Madison HATE the college kids. I've heard it's getting better, but one would think in a "college town" they would be a bit more "college-friendly" - as in, discounts with a student ID, etc. Also - BARS IN MADISON are practically non-exisistent. Go to the on-campus pub instead.

Responses
responseUm, yes there are very few bars in madison, but literally 5 minutes away is morristown which is social life central, there are at least 10 bars that are more than decent, and there's an amazing hooka bar that is an awesome night scene… and everyone in madison is extremely friendly. It is the FDU kids they usually don't like.
The theater deparment may appear imposing, but i've never had a problem where i felt like i didn't belong there. i find, more and more, that if you try to get involved, people will find ways to get you involved
