Going to Purdue was a good experience. If you were one of the big fish in your high school, you owe it to yourself to experience competition against peers that are comparable to your academic ability. Purdue is part of the Big Ten. People have heard of it and will be impressed when they hear that you graduated from Purdue. It is a safe campus. Despite its size there is a community feel about it. Purdue does help with finding a job, there are frequent high quality job fairs and if you are motivated there are many opportunities to interview with large companies. In my spring semester I had over 50 face to face interviews with companies, and that resulted in 5 job offers that I could choose from. I had many opportunities to be involved in clubs on campus and held a number of leadership roles several organizations. Cost of parking is reasonable. I truly enjoyed my experience and I feel that Purdue was well worth the cost.
