Been going here for 3 years. 1 quarter left. Going for the game art and design degree. The school is nice. The teachers are nice and helpful. I have had a good time going here learning the skills I need to get a job in the industry. Nice student body. They have some really good teachers there

They are a bit slow with adopting the new trends in game art

Think some of the teachers are a bit too easy on students that have done crap work and let them pass when they should have been held back

Some teachers are teaching classes they shouldn’t be and seem to have little knowledge of the course.

There bike racks are not bolted to the ground. So make sure you have a good thick bike lock and stick it on a tree or light post. I have had a bike stolen from the bike rack.

I have some jobs and leads lined up now. They are not doing the intern program anymore so I had to get these going through teachers and searching and applying around on my own.

Do not go with student housing here. It may be or was cheaper but its not worth it. That whole department is a mess. They do not communicate between each other. They have been slowly raising the rent and made it $1000 to break the lease. They do not communicate with there resident advisors that live in the apartment complex. They will change the lock and not tell you about it. Everyone in that department is a pain in the ass to work with and they don't listen.

They do a poor job matching you up with another roommate. I have had 1 fat guy that took 5 hour long showers and could not flush. I have had 2 stinky people that listen to anime music in there sleep. You have no idea how bad it is living with someone like that. Have had acouple good roommates.

They where trying to move me in with some other guy because I was using up 75% of the apartment. I don't see how using an apartment table for a desk and half the closet space as using up 75% of the apartment. But moving me in with a guy that has had several chance to clean up before I move in and did a crap job of it and I wasn't even given a chance. Took awhile to fight that. And that goes right back to there lack of communication.

I’m going to school here to get and education not get moved around by these incompetent morons every other quarter.

The apartment complex they stick you in is nice. I like the smoke tree complex the best out of the 2. It is gated now. Rather have had done it without going through the school. Metro is ok, not gated, and they have some weird people there. They are both close to the getto center mall.

So try and find a place around by the school. Just don't go through the school.

San Valiente is a rather nice spot. Was about to go there and got talked into going through the school. What a mistake that was.

Some nice spots out behind the school and around there.
