UML/UMASS LOWELL should be avoided at all costs. As you can see from the other reviews (though half of them can't spell for crap), the campuses are over a mile apart, and the offices that you need to get to are ALWAYS being moved, resulting in some major footwork whenever you need anything done. Forget transportation, busses take over an hour to get from one place to another. You can skip any class by telling the prof. that you took the bus, and they'll believe you - that's how often the busses are late. 20-30% of the teachers either don't speak english well, can't write in english, or are so GERIATRIC that you can't understand a word they say. I have been there for 4 years, going on 5 because of how disorganized the administration is, and I have only had 1 teacher PER YEAR that I actually enjoied having a class with. The rest are either so godawful or so unimpressive that I would rather lock myself in one of their tiny smelly dorm rooms with the book than actually attend their horrible classes. Did I mention it takes a freeking HOUR and sometimes TWO HOURS to find a damn parking spot ANYWHERE on campus? Then when you do park there, they find some reason to ticket you so you get a hold flag on your account and can't register for classes next semester… UML SUCKS!
