I and my siblings before me attended UMCP. The social life has diminished , but the academics have improved. The campus is really nice for a public school, fairly comparable to uva. Surrounding city lacks in appearance, safety, and night-life activities (4 bars, hookah bar and thats about it). However, DC and Baltimore are less than 30min away, which makes up for it. Engineering Dept and Business are constantly improving (although most business students are snooty)
