FSU is a good school for students who want a nice education at fairly reasonable prices in a pretty relaxed, small town environment. HOWEVER: If you plan on having fun every night of the week, think again. FSU is a suitcase college and for good reason - there is nothing in town except for a Meijers & Walmart…to really enjoy yourself you have to go 50 miles south to Grand Rapids, a city of 150,000 people. But don't get me wrong, FSU is still a very good school and offers a lot of variety overall in terms of academics and quality vs. price. Personally, if I had to do it over again I would have went to a school in Grand Rapids but I was pretty uninformed coming in and by my 2nd year when I wanted to switch, it was too late financially.
