USU is a great place to go to school. The people are very friendly and you can have a great time. People complain that there is nothing to do in Logan, but that depends on what you like. If you like big cities, Broadway plays, amusment parks, dance clubs and all that stuff, then it's not the place for you, but there are so many outdoorsy things to do, like ski and snowboard in the winter, hike through the mountains, go kayaking, golf, etc. It's a college town so it also has malls and restaurants and everything. Just perfect. The school is also great if you are LDS because there is a big LDS Institute and many members of the church to have a good positive influence, but it isn't the overbearing kind of stuff that you get at BYU or BYU-Idaho. All in all I have really enjoyed my time at USU and wouldn't transfer anywhere else.
