Date: Aug 23 2005 Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time) I think that I received a very strong education at this Jesuit University. Its well-respected within Ohio, PA, and parts of NY, Michigan and Illinois. If you choose to branch out beyond these states, the JCU name will not help you. I decided to head out east (rather than stick to the midwest as it seems about 80% of JCU grads do) and I had NO help from JCU or the career center. I found my job through my own connections and hard work. I could have gone to any school out there and landed the job that I have now. I love my job and I'm happy, however I am disappointed that my expensive education did not help me land a job. Once again, if you choose to stay within the region, you are set to land a job. But if you dare branch out past Cleveland, Ohio - good luck.
