Western is a top choice institution for students mainly from western washington who think that UW is too big/dont want to live in Seattle and WSU is too isolated. WWU's campus is long and narrow and is situated between two forested hills and has spectacular views over Bellingham Bay towards the northern end of campus. If you're looking for a big Greek scene/division 1 athletics, its not the school for you.
