I am an undecided freshman..  so far, everything here is better than I could have expected.  The faculty is top notch, and the student body is, overall, one of great humility and friendliness.  Towson is a great little city, and it's within easy walking distance.  Some negatives that I've noticed so far, though there are very few and far inbetween, are: a.) The social life... that is, there is none.  You will meet some great friends, but don't expect ANYTHING to be going on at campus come night time.  In fact, it's very reminiscent of a ghost town..  b.) My dorm (I am not sure about others) is not in the best of shape.  The electricity in the lounge room is often malfunctioning, and the bathrooms and hallways are not well-maintained..  c.) only some of the dorms are air conditioned..  if you have some dorms air conditioned, you should have ALL dorms air conditioned, no ifs, ands, or buts.  It's all or nothing - air conditioning or no air conditioning - only that would be fair for everyone.*

* These “negatives” honestly have not made my Goucher experience bad in any way.  However, be sure to expect some of them when you get here.  Overall, I am very satisfied.
