Pepperdine is a great school for some people, yet it is definately not for everyone. If you are looking for a real "college experience," an intillectual environment, intelligent peers, an art community, open-minded environment, courses that challenge one's status quo thinking, and a real challenge, look elsewhere. I personally think the Pepperdine name is overinflated and the only reason the school is relatively well known is its campus and its Christian mission. That being said, if you are looking for a Christian school (with all the advantages and disadvtages that go along with said affilitaion), a beautiful setting, great weather, caring teachers, a place that will not challenge conservative stances and Christian beliefs, and a 4 year vacataion with a little bit of homework, come. But its not cheap and I believe one can get a much better education and experience for the price (but financial aid tends to be generous). P.S. Malibu is way over rated. Boring, foggy, sterile. Don't come for the town.
