Although York is a small town and a small university, the personal attention you receive in truly invaluable. Probably the greatest thing I learned by being at York was how to juggle multiple responsibilities. Too many responsibilities, actually. The small size allows you to become over-involved, and the result is that you can be much more active. The skill of being able to juggle multiple tasks, handle pressure, and still thrive has been invaluable in the working world. Add to that the tremendous opportunity for spiritual growth and caring faculty and that makes York an excellent place to learn and grow.
