Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
after a year at Gate, the only thought that keeps coming to mind is, because i am freezing my tail off in this god-forsaken mountain and my friends are hitting the waves on the west coast while still receiving an outstanding education comparable to colgate's. as if that's not enough to convince you to look elsewhere for a quality education, the social scene here is either shady frats, unsightly little bars, or a cramped dancefloor at the jug. for $40+ grand a year, why not go somewhere with actual clubs, an actual city, and where every weekend doesn't involve having to get drunk? Where people don't have to own a Lexus or wear Polo everyday just to mold themselves into the ideal Colgate image? And where they serve actual food? So why don't i transfer? world class academics, a few people who i can say are honestly good people. great lacrosse team of which i am a member. great profs. hot girls who are easy to bed ;) oh, and the study abroad thing. Colgate has one of the best study abroad programs in the nation and 55% of students take advantage of it, one of the highest rates. i guess even the polo-wearing frat boys get tired of all the booze, snow, and fake smiles.
