Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
Unless you intend to major in something "blue collar," don't waste your money and time with this school. IMO, I just don't feel I received a good education at all, and my biggest regret was not transferring after two years. Since graduating in 2003, while I have been able to find work, I haven't been able to land a job that presents a strong opportunity for advancement or with good pay. I'm saying this as a student whose overall GPA was 3.2. Most of the business professors are more interested in giving you "busywork" than teaching anything relevent; one professor, Dr. Fletcher, is more consumed with following the stock market in his office (and in the classroom while teaching, if rumors are true) than helping his students. In addition, I'm in process of applying to grad school, and asked two professors if they would write me letters of recommendation, both of whom I thought were helpful professors, but they essentially told me to get lost. Totally unprofessional in my view, and demonstrates that they, and most professors at Penn College are first and foremost interested in picking up a paycheck. I'm just hoping receiving my degree here doesn't hurt me with grad school admissions. I probably sound bitter, but everything I'm writing is true, as I'm trying to be a straight shooter and give an honest assessment of this university.
