Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
MSOE is a great school if you are looking for a job right out of your BS degree. The campus is pretty grey and really does nothing to stand out (one of the buildings if a former parking garage and another is a former car dealership). The course work is pretty challenging, the quarters contain the same amount of work as a standard semester but are 7 weeks shorter (so Imagine having three semesters back-to-back-to-back). It really is go go go go for your entire time there. The teachers seem very bright, but also seem to be a bit removed from the "real world" in general. Go to this school if you want a traditional engineering education, small classes, a guranteed job out of college, and respect in Americas Midwest. Don't go if you want a social life, if you want to party and meet ladies, or if you want a slow paced education (also avoid Professor Kwan at all costs).
