First I should talk about the campus. This university is probably on of the most boring schools that exists. The campus is a dump. There are only a few buildings that are well kept. You get what you pay for. Tuition in state is less than $2000 and the Hawaii legislature won't give squat to the school, it is understandable why everything is rundown.

Social Life: This issue gets a little bit complicated. First of all, this school is racist. White people make about 10% of the body. The rest are asian and asian Hawaiian mix. Most of them do their own thing, and its very hard to get friendships going with them. The culture here is pathetic. I lived in Hawaii my whole life, and I've always hated Hawaii culture. The problem is that UH is the epitomy it. If you are a white, then you DO NOT WANT TO GO TO THIS SCHOOL. There really is no party life or incredibly fun things going on. Some of the bands and events that they have here are totally pathetic. People just go to bars and get drunk and laid. That's about all you can do here.(don't forget about STDs)

Faculty: Some of the professors are very very very nice, helpful nd supportive, funny but…. most of them are very very very nasty, UNHELPFUL, UNREACHABLE, UNSUPPORTIVE, COLD, AND CONDESCENDIG. One of my biggest problems with the faculty is their completely biased view of the world, and if you don't support their views you could quite easily get an F on whatever you're doing. Also, some of the stuff that I've been taught has been insane. SOME OF THESE PROFESSORS ARE ON CRACK OR SOMETHING. My only useful courses have been the science courses. If you are a Christian, prepare to have your faith thouroughly attacked by constant but stupid arguments.

I've been very negative about this school, and I think that it deserves it. But there are a few small pluses. First, if you are Asian, you will be right at home. It's cheap and easy to get into. Most classes are pretty cruise, and there are a couple of very good departments, such as Electrical Engineering.

I am not looking to finishing up this second year at UH. As soon as I'm done, I am out of here. I am sick of living on this racist rock in the middle of nowhere. This island is NOT THE ALOHA STATE. That
