I
don't regret my year here at Sul Ross, but likewise
I wouldn't recommend the place for anyone truly seeking academia
and the rigors of university life. The academic extracurriculars
that are stellar (all one or two of them) are
poorly funded. On the flip side, some people —though
perhaps not brilliant people— are very friendly, and you'll be
surprised how much you can find to do in a
tiny town. If you like drinking every weeknight, easy
grades, and you don't need too many cultural stimuli, SRSU might be right up your alley.
