I graduated from Kentwood Highschool, one of the best schools in Kent next to Kentlake Highschool.  Our motto was “imagine,” which meant to explore all.  When I first came to BCC, I felt that that at the Student Service Center I was treated very well by all members until I finally met with a counselor who was suppose to help me with my transfer degree.  She was very snooty and didn't take the time to ask me any questions but instead I felt liek she was trying to order me around by saying “Tell me what that says!” or “I hate it when Margo does this, I don't know why she makes me do this.” I felt really bad as a person and I felt like she only spoke with me because she had to not because it was her job.  I've never encountered a person so rude and condescending.  I only wish that the staff who are in charge of helping students with their planning want to do that than feel like they have to.  Thank you.
