DU was ranked the #1 LEAST diverse school in the country. It shows. they try to hide it and lie outwardly about it. The community (50% business majors) of students are completely selfish, blatantly racist, whitebread, rich kids. there was very little going on on campus. the school is on the very outskirts of denver in a suburban neighborhood with nothing to do. The excitement of the city is very inaccessible. The academics and faculty are terrific, but the other students were so awful that I dropped out after just one quarter.

questionHi! Thank you so much for your insightful review! Just for curiosity, I have several concerns that I want to investigate in more depth before considering University of Denver. I can describe myself as being an individual who just wants to do the right thing and who would feel more comfortable in a friendlier environment. I would feel awfully sad if I was in a negative environment where most of the student body was unfriendly. I understand that there is no such thing as the perfect student body. I think academics are important when looking at a college or university, but I also take into consideration of if the environment is friendly overall. I know that there will always people that can be unfriendly, but overall, is there allot of negative people at DU? Do you think that an incoming freshman that is friendly would not belong here? In addition I am just really concerned because many people say that the social life at DU is based on the fraternities and sororities. Do you agree with this statement? In addition, did you find that there was a lot of hazing at DU? A lot of hazing is another issue I am concerned about because I think that it is important for an incoming freshman to have a social and academic environment that they feel comfortable with. Thanks for reading this response!
