I had never gone to any school before starting Green River at 16 years old. It was a new experience that I am glad to have, but can't really compare it to anything else. For the most part, faculty is approachable, but there is the occasional exception. Some classes were cake, other classes really challenged and stretched skills, knowledge, etc. Students can be cliquish, but there seemed to be a clique for everyone… even the quiet kids seemed to band together in a clique of quiet. The new parts of campus are beautiful, and the landscape is improving. Some buildings are very outdated, but remain in operable and "acceptable" condition. I graduated in two years with a GPA over 3.8 (which is not to say the school is "easy," by any means), and have found myself to be "desirable" to Universities, though I haven't started at another school yet. There is not much in the way of student life, but there is a club or society for just about any interest. With facilities for nearly 10,000 students, there is something for everyone at Green River.
