I had a great experience, but it is not for everyone. I am conservative and religious so Baylor was a perfect fit for me. The professors were very supportive and approachable. Half of my classes had a class size less than 12 students and a number of my professors would have get togethers at their homes. Baylor does require all students to take classes in many different fields (including religion), but it helped me become a well rounded student. Having the additional classes benefited me in my previous job and in law school. The facilities are awesome and the technology and computers are constantly upgraded. The whole school is wireless as well. I enjoyed the campus life, but life at Baylor can be a pain if you are not involved in an organization (greek or otherwise). Waco is definitely not Dallas or Austin but it has all the essentials and the bars and restaruants around town are decent. The student body is very active and athletic; the students frequent the campus gym and run the "Bear Trail" around campus all the time. I loved being involved and loved the fact that Baylor wasn't only focused on academics. Activities like SING, Homecoming events, intramural sports, NCAA sports, campus sponsored events, and greek sponsored events made life on campus enjoyable. The only bad experience I had with Baylor was with its career services department. The resources in the career library were lacking and none of the counselors had any decent contacts with companies or well established alumni. I decided to go to law school so I wasn't completely out of luck, but I think most students have to do a lot of their own leg work when finding a job.
