Major: Civil Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Bucknell has exceeded my expectations. If you have ~$40K to cover tuition, go for it. The University is gorgeous. I am a student of the excellent civil engineering dept. I have also taken courses in the environmental studies and management departments and they are equally fantastic. The university is always doing nice things for the students ex. free late-night exam treats (pizza, cookies, subs chips…) the week before finals. New athletic center with new equipment and pool. Our basketball team is now well known by the 'big dogs,' having defeated Kansas in the NCAA tourney in 05 and Syracuse. The university supports numerous clubs and organizations (which help students get off campus—a plus since the campus is in the 'boonies'). Ski team is fun. Sororities and fraternities are big on campus. Again, shell out the dues and join one if you can—it will give you options for plans and your name will automatically be on party lists. My 'must do' recommendations - Haunted House in Elysburg, drive in movies in Danville, corn maize and pumpkin picking at Ard's Farm in Lewisburg, camping at R.B. Winters Park, and boating through Penns Cave. Honestly, no regrets.
