Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I have only been at Pitt for a semester, but I will say that the Honors College takes very good care of its own. I'm out of state, and I chose Pitt over Duke for a scholarship, but I am very pleased with my decision. If you are a more high achieving high school student, I would say that what Pitt offers over a more competitive school, besides excellent scholarships, is an honors community where the kids cooperate, talk about intellectual stuff, and have a great time. At a lot of schools, there is not much to do besides drink. At Pitt, with all the benefits and trappings (discount event tickets, free bus, on-campus events), there is something to do literally every second of the day. The UHC will always have your back and people are friendly. Definately do honors housing.
