Date: Jan 02 2006 Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time) Unfortunately I need to be brief. I found Carleton to be both a very humbling and empowering experience. I could not have been happier with the education that I received. My only criticism is that I feel the faculty often expect students to go into a PhD program in their major. This can be wonderful because it gives the faculty very high expectations, but I think that many people don’t know to consider other plans for after graduation. This may be less true in non-science majors. I feel that I was very well prepared for graduate school and that graduate professors recognized how rigorous my undergraduate education was. The first year can be rough, but I am very glad that I went to Carleton.
