Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
This IS the place to come to if you want to challenge yourself, meet interesting people (whom you will see again and again year round, no doubt about that), learn, be cultured, make friends that you will see all of the time, study, learn to write academic papers, learn to discuss and express your ideas, get the best preparation for grad/law/med school. This IS the place to come to for a laid back weekend night, frequent parties that are fun for the first year or so but slowly become the occasional perk, lots of indie bands year round, a Stunning campus (very few schools compare), and lots of clubs and organized activities. If you hate the idea of a dry campus, this is the place for you. This IS NOT the place to go to school if you want easy A's, even easy B+'s. You have to work for them. This is NOT the place to eat good food. IT SUCKS. This IS NOT the school for you if you hate being stressed out, want to party hardy everyday of the week, or want a REAL frat life. The school has no sororities. The sports here are not taken that seriously, although many students participate in them, and the school has a gym. Do NOT come here for your typical college town. Our's sucks. Most people rarely go into Philadelphia. This place IS NOT the best for amenities. We have over a 1 billion dollar endowment, but most of the dorms are pretty blah and get stiffling in the summer, are poorly lit in the rooms, etc. But, overall, if you want the best education, a real one, want to actually learn something, don't mind seeing the same people often, like a laid back social scene, don't mind working your ass off, want accessible profs and a beautiful campus. you'll probably like it here.
