Hi, this is actually a comment on Nashotah House in general. I am a child of a student ( you will find a mixture of students in their 20's, and then a fair amount of people who have "seen the light" and decided to become priests later in life with children of various ages). Since not many people had commented about this school, I figured people needed some info. I am a senior at the the local high school (oconomowoc), and have lived at Nashotah House for three years. They are perennialy in debt and keep selling off land surrounding the campus, which is right on a nice small lake. My father has had a relatively good time here, but already knew half of the stuff before moving here. Hebrew and Greek are required, and from what I know of the professors, most of them are very good. If you are married, be prepared for screaming children. The married student cul-de-sac has around 30 kids under the age of 12 runnning around, with many being homeschooled. I would advise working here suring the summer on work crew. It allows you to get a real feel for the the way the house is ..run. As for a social life, you are in the middle of Wisconsin, between "Madtown" (Madison) and Milwaukee. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers around, but without a car it is impossible. The YMCA is right down the road (the school does have a gym with workout area, but most of it is decrepit. The student body has been growing every year I've been here, with a majority from the South (Fort Worth) or some how connected to Quincy. Can't really commetn on academics, but living here is nice.
