Academically, I really enjoyed attending Central. Every single professor I had made the subject interesting. The professors are every eager to help as long as you make an effort to reach out to them. I loved Central. As a freshman, classes were not too challenging, but they were interesting. Socially, I am a minority and I come from a diverse town, so coming to CWU was a culture shock. Being shy and a minority, I found it hard to adjust at first.. but people here are generally friendly. There are a lot of the typical college kids that love to party and are self-absorbed and whatnot. There are also a lot of people from smaller cities; thus, very into the country western thing. But the people here are OKAY, everyone was pretty friendly. The city is horribly small and there is absolutley nothing here. Police love to break up parties and so although parties are everywhere, everynight, they often are broken up because this town is so small. The best thing in the town is the Fred Meyers. I think administration here is cool. Everyone who works there is pretty much willing to help you in any way they can. There isn't a lot of school involvement so clubs and whatnot are somewhat disappointing, but not completely horrible.A nice school, great if you're looking for a small school enviroment. However, I transferred out of here because I wanted to go to a bigger university and in a more urban city.
