Clarkson University

Clarkson University is not the place for a non-engineering student. Their are hardly any sororites, especially black ones here that make it a nice place to want to stay.The people here are not that nice, everyone does not want to say hi when the show is kicking your ass. Potsdam is corney, their is nothing to do but get drunk and possibly fall into the Canton river and die. Beware. Another thing, the dorms are not that great. The hip hop/reggae parties are all the same. If you dont have a car in the North Country you are skrewed because you'll get tired of paying nasty greyhound your money. Some good things: Alot of engineers are happy with the jobs they are offered upon graduation. Some kids make about 56,000 dollars after graduation… IF your an engineer.The math is killer! Another "good" thing I guess is how small the campus is. Once, I ate lunch with a professor while we talked about my grades. I mean,I dont know how other people would do that in a larger school, but remember that only YOU can make things work for you. Oh yeah, the library is crap and looks like a bad 70 t.v show,hockey is what is the only division one sport,basketball players suck. The swimming team are called the "stoners" because we are in Potsdam.CORNEY.BEWARE.
