OBU is a great place to, as the underlying theme goes, "comebine faith and learning" in a positive atmosphere that is supportive, encouraging, and challenging. It's not a school in which you can get by with just "making the grade". You are pushed in every direction to do your best. I like the school, because it's competitive, but in a way that's healthy and promotes good morale. The faculty are amazing and will go above and beyond the call of duty to see that you are prepaired and equipped with the tools you need to perform 110% I have been going here for the past three years and do not consider myself to be among the most intelligent students here who can debate against philosophical arguments and one that can tell you every political position on which I stand—you have to remember, I'm only a junior; however, the things which I learning here at OBU are bringing awareness to issues that affect me as well as the world around me and I'm able to play my part by becoming an educated being who is not afraid to stand up for what is right, what is ethical, and what compliments my christian heritage. This is a great school, with great people, with a great enviornment. If anyone speaks negatively of this school, it's in a futile attempt to simply try and give it a bad name because they, themselves did not take advantage of the campus and what it had to offer!
